Who is the real Jim Holperin? He’s a State Senator who ran to Illinois in order to hold up a budget vote and block our representatives from passing a balanced budget. Members of Tea Party caught up with Rockford Jim in Illinois, as you can see in the video below.
Meanwhile, the people who Rockford Jim Holperin was really representing, the unions, were costing Wisconsinites approximately 8 million dollars in damages and security costs with their protesting. It’s a funny play on Running Jim’s record, linking his name to the policies that he supported under Doyle. Personally, I’d really like to see them do ad about Jim HolpeRUN with some of the footage of him during the great escape to Illinois. Or maybe an ad that uses the old “Escape to Wisconsin” tagline with some of the footage of Jesse Jackson and the other Chicago thugs in our Capitol: “Escape to Wisconsin, all of Jim Holperin’s friends do it.” There are so many possibilities.
If you want to know who Kim Simac is, you don’t need to rely on what campaign ads are saying. You can go straight to the source. The videos below come from Kim Simac herself. She has also written a letter which explains her positions on many issues, which she has released through her website.
In a nutshell, her basic position is best given by her statement: “I will also fight for lower taxes, less government spending and less regulation so that our businesses will be allowed to grow and cultivate job growth that we so desperately need.” This is really the heart of this race. Jim Holperin has voted for higher taxes and bigger government, while Kim wants lower taxes and smaller government.
All of the ads from Holperin’s supporters claiming that Kim wants to raise taxes are just a lie. She is heavily supported by the Tea Party and everyone knows that the Tea Party would never support someone who wants to raise taxes. If you believe in smaller government, vote for Kim Simac.

What an incredible campaign Alberta Darling is waging! She’s running on her accomplishments instead of away from them. She truly deserves to be re-elected on August 9th!
This is an amazing speech for an elected leader. If only all politicians were as honest as Alberta Darling! She states and runs on her actual accomplishments. What a refreshing change! I hope her constituents show up and vote for her on August 9, 2011.
