Did This Lie From Gay Groups Incite Murder?

Yesterday, I made this post, which led me into a conversation with several gay advocates on Facebook. I stated that gay groups were spreading lies that incited violence, like the shooting yesterday at the FRC. It did not take long before one of the advocates made the claim that the Family Research Council lobbied in favor of a Uganda law that made death a punishment for homosexuality.

I know that the left makes up lies like this, and it did not take me long to find this CBS article to prove the point. The truth is that the FRC asked that the language of the bill to be changed, since gay groups were using the bill to mainstream homosexuality. As I surmised, the FRC was not lobbying to kill homosexuals, but that is the lie that gay groups have been spreading.

Did this lie incite the shooter in D,C. to commit murder? Everything that we now know indicates that it probably was the lie that led the shooter to murder.

Yesterday GLAAD, released this statement on behalf of 25 gay groups:

The motivation and circumstances behind today’s tragedy are still unknown, but regardless of what emerges as the reason for this shooting, we utterly reject and condemn such violence. We wish for a swift and complete recovery for the victim of this terrible incident.

Despite this, GLAAD and many other gay groups, are continuing to perpetuate this hate-filled lie about Uganda that is certain to incite more violence. This lie is being told by many left-wing groups, including the Daily Kos. In fact, I saw this on GLAAD’s website just yesterday (they still have not taken it down):

Instead of making a show of opposing the shooting that they probably helped incite. They should issue an apology to the Family Research Council, correct this lie and the many others that they tell, and agree to stop using irresponsible hate-filled lies for political ends. If they really cared, that’s what they would do.

Gay Left-Wing Terrorist Attacks Christian Lobbying Group

The facts have finally come out about the shooting at the conservative christian Family Research Council in Washington D.C. The shooter, Floyd Corkins II, was, in fact, a volunteer for the LGBT Community (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender). However, the executive director, David Mariner, of The DC Center for the LGBT Community described Corkins as “kind, gentle, and unassuming.”

A collection of 25 gay “rights” groups issued the following statement via the GLAAD organization:

The motivation and circumstances behind today’s tragedy are still unknown, but regardless of what emerges as the reason for this shooting, we utterly reject and condemn such violence. We wish for a swift and complete recovery for the victim of this terrible incident.

They should really be issuing an apology and opening their organizations up for investigation. Everything about this attack indicates that it was a direct result of the threats that left-wing groups have been making on Chick-fil-A and it’s CEO Dan Cathy.

We need a full review of the statements that these left-wing groups have made. We need to find out how this attack was instigated and assisted. A simple statement is not enough, especially since many of these groups have been advocating violence on christian groups, Chick-fil-A, and Dan Cathy.

What these gay groups really need is an extensive sensitivity training program to teach them how to respect the views of other people, particularly conservative Christians.
