Michael Glatze: “Homosexuality is death, and I choose life!”

That was the message Michael Glatze left on his computer screen at Young Gay America magazine, shortly before he left his job there as the editor in 2007 and walked out of his gay life. As a former gay activist and major figure in the “gay rights” movement, his story is absolutely extraordinary. You can read his incredible story about leaving homosexuality at this link.

Michael Glatze’s story is truly amazing because he was deep in the gay “community,” and he did not have any help getting out—at least not any mortal help:

Knowing no one who I could approach with my questions and my doubts, I turned to God; I’d developed a growing relationship with God, thanks to a debilitating bout with intestinal cramps caused by the upset stomach-inducing behaviors I’d been engaged in.

It is an inspiring testament to the awesome power of God that he reached into the depths of depravity and pulled Michael Glatze out. God gave him a new life and now he is 100% heterosexual. It has been about six years since he left homosexuality, and he has a new perspective on his former life:

Homosexuality is a problem. Let’s just be clear: Everybody knows that homosexuality is not the same thing as heterosexuality. But what not everybody understands is that homosexuality is not a perversion of heterosexuality. Homosexuality is a perversion of the correct relationship between God and His creation, man.

So, what did Michael Glatze mean when he said that homosexuality is death? He might have meant spiritual death, or maybe he was simply observing the effects of gay life around him. The excessive drug use that is common among homosexuals and the alarming HIV infection rates from having frequent unprotected sex with many strangers are two factors. As noted in my prior post, the meth usage rates among gay men have been found to be as much as 20 times that of the general population. The HIV rates are even worse.

According to the CDC, the number of infections from gay male sex in 2011 was 30,573. The number for straight male sex is 4,588. Those numbers are even more striking when you consider that gay men make up less then 3% of the population. Using the 3% figure for the population of gay men, you can calculate that the infection rate for gay men is 215 times the rate for straight men:

Gay to Straight infection ratio = (30,573/.03)/(4588/.97) = 215

In other words, if all of the gay men had been straight, only 30,573/215 = 142 of them would have been infected. That means that 30,573 – 142 = 30,431 fewer infections would have occurred. Among the 30,431 infections that were caused by homosexuality, there will be a large number who suffer a premature death from AIDS. So, Michael Glatze may have been speaking literally when he said that “homosexuality is death.”

Despite what you have heard about homosexuality in the media, there are many others who have left it. There is a Facebook page here for those who have found Jesus and left homosexuality behind them.

You can find resources there and compelling stories on how God has helped many people overcome homosexuality. If you need help, you might want to contact them. Be sure to like their page and tell your friends. You never know who might need help.

How much more overwhelming sctiiiefnc evidence do we have to collect for something that is plain and obvious to anybody who has looked into this tragedy for more than a second? The sooner we accept homosexuality as a communicable genetic disease the sooner we’ll have a cure! Let’s stop doing the research and start implementing the cure!!!

Obviously condom-use/safer sex “education” programs are not working and possibly only working to encourage more people to engage in high risk behaviors. What’s the definition of insanity again?

When society on the whole was encoraging one another towards abstinence/celibacy until man-woman marriage for life, we didn’t have these problems.

Big Pharma, by the way, makes more money and profit from drugs for sexual diseases and dysfunctions more than anything else, more than heart disease medication. Big Pharma is noted for its not so natural products, but not a word of protest against them from the organic food pro-green loving liberals.

There’s a connection between the crony big corporate greed that the left says they’re against and the promotion of homosexuality and sex outside of man-woman marriage and sex at earlier and earlier ages that the left promotes or protects. A connection that the left conveniently ignores.

I was not going to read this due to the title, I don’t feel that being gay makes someone less than me in God’s eyes, I have many sins of my own to account for, I was afraid this was going to be a story of a young man , who was lost and took his own life. That is what the title suggests. I am glad I read this, I pray that this young man has found love, peace and happiness. God Bless.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me….
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

    T’was Grace that taught…
    my heart to fear.
    And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear…
    the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares…
    we have already come.
T’was Grace that brought us safe thus far…
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me…
    His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be…
    as long as life endures.

When we’ve been here ten thousand years…
    bright shining as the sun.
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise…
    then when we’ve first begun.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me….
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

So thankful to God for His ongoing miraculous work of rescue in our fallen world! Including in me. Glad to hear of a ministry to one of the stronger addictions that enslave us. Same-sex lust is right up there (or down there) with cults, drugs, porn & other sex habits. Some of which I succumbed to, until Jesus found me. Fight on! Praying for Spiritual Revolution, Revival & Rescue in our time… and for your ministry. You might like what I do. I do cartoons to stir hearts (& for my own therapy). Enjoy.
