Is Homosexuality a Sin?

With some churches now embracing and promoting homosexuality, there are going to be people who will claim that homosexuality is not a sin. They will try to deceive Christians and lead them away from God. For Christians in the modern world, it is imperative that they stand resolute and ready to defend their beliefs with a full understanding of the Word of God. To help defend against lies, I have compiled this list of passages from the Bible that address the evil of homosexuality.

The clearest message comes from Leviticus:

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. (Leviticus 18:22 King James Version)

Then a little further on in Leviticus this is expanded upon:

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Leviticus 20:13 King James Version)

In the first book of Corinthians, homosexuality is listed among other sins:

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 King James Version)

In 1 Timothy, a list of crimes, not just sins, puts homosexuality together with murder:

Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. (1 Timothy 1:9–11 King James Version)

Nowhere else is the sin of homosexuality and its consequences described more graphically and clearly than in the book of Romans:

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans 1:26-32 King James Version)

The story of Sodom and Gomorrha is told in detail in the book of Genesis Chapter 19. It is a long passage, which can be summarized by saying that God destroyed the cities because of their immorality and homosexuality. These days, deceivers are trying to tell everyone that the cities were destroyed because of inhospitality, not homosexuality. The book of Jude tells us clearly that sexuality immorality, most notably homosexuality, was their sin:

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. (Jude 1:7-8 King James Version)

The Feminist, Anti-Family, Pro-Abortion Girl Scouts

I had a vague idea that the Girl Scouts might have a feminist agenda. But I had no idea that they actively promote radical feminism, abortion, destructive self-centeredness, and a brutal way of looking at women and the female body.

At a recent conference in New York City (sanctioned by the national Girl Scouts USA), they showed the documentary MAKERS and lauded all those involved including Gloria Steinem, Amy Richards, and Marlo Thomas. If you haven’t seen this incredibly feminist-twisted version of reality movie, watch it here: http://www.makers.com/documentary/. It seems to be one inflammatory discrimination story after another joined together to ignite the watcher’s hatred of men and society as it was. And while TV and advertisements certainly weren’t aiming at the highest-educated consumer in the 1950s/1960s, this movie makes much of the feminist women, who were smarter than to listen to this media, but who listened anyway and then resented it and made all other women feel uncomfortable in the lives that they had previously felt good in. This band of women disrupted any kind of natural order of society as it was in the 1950s/1960s and made it impossible to be satisfied as a woman unless you completely ignored or were able to argue against the feminist deluge. And, remember this is what the Girl Scouts organization approved to show to the young girls in its ranks. Are they trying to breed the next generation of feminists? Emphatically yes.

Moreover, the feminist movement does not attempt to just throw a woman’s life and place in this world into chaos. Amy Richards, another glorified feminist in the documentary, below speaks more recently about her choices regarding her own children. I cannot think of abortion in any other terms than killing when Richards discusses how she got pregnant with triplets and chose to kill one of them so that she could end up with only twins. Most of her talk is about her choice, what it means for her, what it is for her to choose this. There is half a sentence about how the other two babies will have more food in her womb (she says “placenta” as if this is a medical show), and no discussion of the baby she is killing.

 

There are many other incendiary parts to the feminist movement that started with Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinem, but this is more than enough for any young girl who just wants to get together with her friends to make bead bracelets. If your daughter becomes a member of the Girl Scouts, are you ready for her to be educated in these feminist tactics of protesting, abortion, man-hate, and society disruption? Because make no mistake, that is what she will be hearing, either overtly or covertly. These issues are pushed by the feminists, and the Girl Scouts, on a young crowd on purpose; the young take it in easier, question less, and become more ardent, though less introspective, fighters.

Gay Hate on Video: Gay Mob Violently Attacks Christians at Pridefest

SEATTLE, WA, July 4, 2013 (AcuteMania.net) – At Pridefest in Seattle on Sunday, a gang of homosexuals violently attacked two Christian protesters. One of the protesters is holding a sign that reads: “Repent or Else” and “Jesus Saves from Sin,” and the other is wearing a black shirt.

The Christian protester in the black shirt gets shoved a few times and the rest of the gay crowd takes turns mocking and screaming at both of them. The gay crowd continues to hurl threats and strike at the men for a while.

Then several homosexuals pull at the first man’s sign, and one of them rips it off. As the others climb on top of him and wrestle with him, the fat gay man who took off his shirt off earlier runs at him and strikes him from behind several times.

Michael Glatze: “Homosexuality is death, and I choose life!”

That was the message Michael Glatze left on his computer screen at Young Gay America magazine, shortly before he left his job there as the editor in 2007 and walked out of his gay life. As a former gay activist and major figure in the “gay rights” movement, his story is absolutely extraordinary. You can read his incredible story about leaving homosexuality at this link.

Michael Glatze’s story is truly amazing because he was deep in the gay “community,” and he did not have any help getting out—at least not any mortal help:

Knowing no one who I could approach with my questions and my doubts, I turned to God; I’d developed a growing relationship with God, thanks to a debilitating bout with intestinal cramps caused by the upset stomach-inducing behaviors I’d been engaged in.

It is an inspiring testament to the awesome power of God that he reached into the depths of depravity and pulled Michael Glatze out. God gave him a new life and now he is 100% heterosexual. It has been about six years since he left homosexuality, and he has a new perspective on his former life:

Homosexuality is a problem. Let’s just be clear: Everybody knows that homosexuality is not the same thing as heterosexuality. But what not everybody understands is that homosexuality is not a perversion of heterosexuality. Homosexuality is a perversion of the correct relationship between God and His creation, man.

So, what did Michael Glatze mean when he said that homosexuality is death? He might have meant spiritual death, or maybe he was simply observing the effects of gay life around him. The excessive drug use that is common among homosexuals and the alarming HIV infection rates from having frequent unprotected sex with many strangers are two factors. As noted in my prior post, the meth usage rates among gay men have been found to be as much as 20 times that of the general population. The HIV rates are even worse.

According to the CDC, the number of infections from gay male sex in 2011 was 30,573. The number for straight male sex is 4,588. Those numbers are even more striking when you consider that gay men make up less then 3% of the population. Using the 3% figure for the population of gay men, you can calculate that the infection rate for gay men is 215 times the rate for straight men:

Gay to Straight infection ratio = (30,573/.03)/(4588/.97) = 215

In other words, if all of the gay men had been straight, only 30,573/215 = 142 of them would have been infected. That means that 30,573 – 142 = 30,431 fewer infections would have occurred. Among the 30,431 infections that were caused by homosexuality, there will be a large number who suffer a premature death from AIDS. So, Michael Glatze may have been speaking literally when he said that “homosexuality is death.”

Will Conservatives Destroy the Government?

Will conservatives refuse to pay their taxes? Will they refuse to comply with what they view as unjust laws? Will conservative states make good on threats to secede from the United States? These are just some of the ideas that are being talked about since the Supreme Court subverted the rule of law in the recent gay marriage rulings and the IRS acknowledged targeting TEA party groups.

Wednesday, the Supreme Court struck down the 1996 Defense Of Marriage Act that was passed by both houses of Congress and signed by the president. They simultaneously vacated a ruling on California’s Proposition 8, which defined marriage as one man and one woman. Proposition 8 was voted on and passed by a direct referendum and DOMA was passed by the elected representatives of the people. This has many conservatives asking whether democracy matters anymore.

They wonder why they should respect any law, when the courts and elected leaders do not. They wonder why they should follow the laws of a government that unfairly and openly targets them and persecutes them. They wonder how such a government can maintain its legitimacy or whether it should. In short, many are asking if this is the time to end it all and disband the United States.

How bad is it? It was so bad that when the rulings were announced, even justices on the Supreme Court were outraged. With regard to the DOMA ruling, Justice Antonin Scalia declared the end of democracy:

In his blistering dissent on the DOMA decision, Scalia said the self-governing power of the people has been eroded. He described the “assertion of judicial supremacy over the people’s representatives in Congress and the executive” as “jaw-dropping.”

In the ruling on California’s Proposition 8, Justice Kennedy expressed a similar sentiment:

Their reasoning drew a testy dissent from Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, a Sacramento native, who wrote that the decision “disrespects and disparages” California’s political process — a staple of which is the ballot initiative.

The court, Kennedy wrote, did “not take into account the fundamental principles or the practical dynamics of the initiative system in California.”

How long the country can go on when even the members of the Supreme Court feel this way remains to be seen.
