Ann Coulter: Romneycare Shows the Failure of Even Statewide Universal Care

In October 2011, Ann Coulter called Romneycare a failure. This was just four months before she wrote her column “Three Cheers for Romneycare,” which praised Mitt Romney’s health care plan and deemed it a success. We’ll just call this another flip-flop for Mitt.

Ann Coulter Flip-Flops for Mitt Romney

It’s incredible to see how many times Mitt Romney has flip-flopped on issues. In fact, there are so many that I’ve created a huge catalogue of Mitt Romney flip-flops that grows larger everyday.

These days, Ann Coulter has come out as a strong supporter of Mitt Romney for president. Virtually every day she is out saying something in support of Mitt: “He’s the most electable.” “He’s the most conservative.” She is becoming more and more like the lying candidate who she supports.

In fact, much like the flip-flopping Mitt Romney, Ann Coulter has flip-flopped on supporting him. In 2008, she was for him. In 2011, she was against him because he would lose. Now, she’s claims that he can win. See for yourself in the videos below. We’ll call this the flip-flop for Mitt Romney campaign.

Ann Coulter now regularly calls Mitt Romney the most conservative candidate. It’s funny that, in 1994 Senate campaign, Mitt Romney said that he “was an independent during the time of Reagan/Bush.” Then, in the 2002 Massachusetts Gubernatorial campaign, Mitt Romney affirmed that “his views are progressive.” Never fear though, Ann Coulter assures us that he’s the most conservative. Sure Ann, whatever you say.

Ann Coulter CPAC 2008: “I think he is our best candidate.”

Ann Coulter CPAC 2011: “If we don’t run Chris Christie, Romney will be the nominee, and we’ll lose.”

Ann Coulter now says that Mitt Romney can win.

The Day the Conservative New Media Died

Today will be remembered as the day that the new conservative media began its descent. Instead of reporting the news, the new media has become an arm of the Mitt Romney campaign in the 2012 presidential race, even the liberals at the Politico are noticing it. From internet websites like the Drudge Report to talk radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck to the columnists like Ann Coulter and Charles Krauthammer, almost the entire conservative media has taken it upon itself to promote the much unloved liberal republican Mitt Romney.

As I reported before, Mitt Romney’s company bought out Clear Channel, which syndicates all of the conservative talk radio shows; this has resulted in an overwhelming bias for his candidacy among talk radio hosts. I also wrote about Ann Coulter lying about Mitt Romney’s conservativism and Glenn Beck calling the TEA Party racist.

The Drudge Report has been posting anti-Newt links for most of the campaign, but today they reached a new low. Click on the thumbnail above and you will see a full-sized image of the Drudge Report page from today. As you can see, the top and two left-most columns are filled with links to anti-Newt stories (12 links and 2 images). The is what has become of the conservative alternative to the old media; let’s face it, the new media is now dead.

We can now no longer believe anything that we get from the new media. They have become a pack of liars, slanderers, and propagandists for the cause of a liberal republican. They have become the republican establishment that they warned us about. Conservatives, these were your friends.

Let’s be clear that the candidate that they are backing, Mitt Romney, is the most liberal of all of the republican candidates in this election cycle. They have chosen to back him, despite the fact that he is disliked greatly among conservatives. They have tried to lie to us and tell us that Mitt Romney is the real conservative and the only republican who can get elected.

Those of us who are TEA Party conservatives have consistently chosen Newt Gingrich as our candidate. Today, I am through listening to the lies of the so-called conservative new media. I am through being insulted by the so-called conservative new media. I am through hearing propaganda against a genuinely conservative candidate. Today, I will find more honest sources of information.

Glenn Beck and Ann Coulter Should Quit Now!

When you start spouting left-wing talking points or resorting to obvious lies to prop up a failing RINO candidate, your days as a conservative commentator are over. When you agree with Bob Dole and Meghan McCain about who should be the republican nominee, you know you’ve crossed into Arianna Huffington territory. My respect for Glen Back and Ann Coulter has now come to an end. Why?

Well, it seems that Glenn Beck is now saying that Newt Gingrich is as liberal as Barack Obama. If that wasn’t enough, Beck has stated that the only argument for supporting Newt over Obama is racism. That’s right, we don’t actually like Newt’s “Contract With America,” welfare reform, balanced budgets, or NAFTA; we’re just racists. Thanks Glenn!

Ann Coulter made the ridiculous assertion that Mitt Romney is the most conservative candidate in the race. That’s simply a joke. Michele Bachmann is the most conservative, easily, and Santorum is a close second. All of the other candidates are far away from them, except in some respect . . . Newt!

Don’t get me wrong Newt has said some liberal things, but he has denounced every one of them. When it comes to actual policy, Newt has been responsible for the most conservative legislation that we’ve seen. Unlike the other candidates, he has done it on a national scale–with a democrat president. The Contract With America, welfare refrom, NAFTA, and the budget cuts of the 90s were all more conservative than anything that we saw during the George W. Bush years, even with a republican-controlled congress.

I have listened to Beck and read Coulter for a long time. I appreciated their commentary and stood by them as they have come under fire from the liberals. However, I find myself unable to comprehend why either if them has said what they have, and I will no longer listen to either of them. It’s a matter of trust, and they have lost mine.

Mr. Beck, in particular, will soon find the large group of Tea Party people whom he has called bigots have left him behind. Ann Coulter will find her credibility gone because of her blatant lie about Romney. No, Ann, Romney isn’t the most conservative candidate. He’s a phoney who has flip-flopped on almost every issue. He even opposed the “Contract With America,” as the video below shows.

Conservatives don’t abide lies nor do they appreciate being called bigots. After moving this far to the left, Glenn Back and Ann Coulter should finish their transition to liberalism (Arianna may have some openings at the HuffPo). No one on the right believes them, not even the Romney supporters.
