It is a tolerant remark from Minnesota’s liberal democrat Senator: Al Franken. The statements in the image above came from an interview in The Harvard Crimson which is posted here. His full statement reads as follows

Just when you thought Sesame Street was safe again, you find out that Elmo’s insatiable hunger for the flesh of little boys will not be quenched as a fresh homosexual, pedophilia charge emerges.

This time, the accuser has come out openly making charges directly at Elmo puppeteer, Kevin Clash. The new accuser is Cecil Singleton and he claims that Kevin Clash molested him when he was 15 years old. Specifically, TMZ reports that

According to Singleton, his sexual relationship with Clash began when he was 15 and Clash was an adult … and initially lasted for 2 weeks. But they picked things up a while later.

Singleton claims that while they never had sexual intercourse, the two did engage in several sexual activities together … including “groping, masturbation, intense kissing, dry-humping.”

Singleton says they had sexual intercourse years later … when Cecil was an adult.

Furthermore, E! is also reporting that Singleton is suing Clash for more than 5 million dollars in damages: psychological and emotional. A very detailed report of Cecil’s charge and accusation is here.

As we reported before, the first accuser was Sheldon Stephens, who claims to have signed a deal to keep quiet for a mere $125,000. It seems Stephens now claims that he signed the agreement under duress and no longer wants to honor it.

As all of this has emerged, it looks like the Sesame Workshop has decided that Kevin Clash has molested enough children on Sesame Street and has thrown him overboard. As reported in The Telegraph, PBS should be recognized for writing the kindest firing speech for a pedophile ever:

In a statement on Tuesday, Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organisation behind the show, said: Kevin Clash has helped us achieve that mission for 28 years, and none of us, especially Kevin, want anything to divert our attention from our focus on serving as a leading educational organisation.

Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding Kevin’s personal life has become a distraction that none of us want, and he has concluded that he can no longer be effective in his job and has resigned from Sesame Street. This is a sad day for Sesame Street.

With all of this, you would think that Sesame Street would have had enough of Elmo, but that does not seem to be the case. As E! reports, Sesame Street plans to continue the muppet’s career on the show.

It appears that the identity of the man who accused Elmo puppeteer, Kevin Clash, of pedophilia is no longer a secret. According to TMZ, he is Sheldon Stephens, and he was paid $125,000 to drop his charges and keep quiet.

In the past few days, stories have run that reported that Sheldon Stephens had recanted the charges against Kevin Clash (AKA “Elmo”). That appears not to be the case. As TMZ is reports,

We’ve learned although Stephens signed the document, he continues to insist Clash had sex with him when he was a minor and was pressured into signing the settlement.

One source privy to the negotiations tells TMZ … Stephens was crying during final negotiations and repeatedly insisted he didn’t want to sign.

We contacted Clash’s lawyer, but he had no comment.

In recent days, the press has been full of articles designed to destroy the reputation of accuser, Sheldon Stephens. Everywhere you look, they are running stories to discredit him in order to save “Elmo.” It is a disgusting silence and destroy mission.

It gives a whole new meaning to the saying, “Tickle me, Elmo.” In a bizarre tale that has several unsavory turns, the man behind (no pun intended) the muppet Elmo was accused of carrying on a homosexual liaison with an underaged boy.

Specifically, the homosexual former lover of the Elmo muppeteer, Kevin Clash 52, asserted that Clash had sex with him when the accuser was only 16. According to Clash their relationship did not start until the accuser was at least 18; he is now 23.

Eventually, the accuser dropped his charges and the question remains: why? The initial charges were brought against Kevin Clash in June. The account of the June accusation, as recorded in the Toronto Star, runs as follows:

“We took the allegation very seriously and took immediate action,” Sesame Workshop said in a statement issued Monday. “We met with the accuser twice and had repeated communications with him. We met with Kevin, who denied the accusation.”

The organization described the relationship as “unrelated to the workplace.” Its investigation found the allegation of underage conduct to be unsubstantiated. But it said Clash exercised “poor judgment” and was disciplined for violating company policy regarding Internet usage. It offered no details.

In other words, the incident was swept under the rug, despite the fact that Kevin Clash was found to be doing something inappropriate on the internet. It is not surprising that PBS was quick to ditch this issue; a perverted muppet is a terrible marketing tool for children.

The question is why did the accuser bring this issue up in November after it was dismissed in June only to dismiss it again? Was he paid to go away and never be heard from again? It would not be surprising since PBS would hate the publicity, and PBS and Kevin Clash are not talking now.

That begs the question: Is there still a pedophile on Sesame Street? Whether or not the accuser was over 18 at the time is only legally relevant. The fact is that it takes a sick 50 year old man to take sexual advantage of an 18 year old boy. That is not the sort of person that I would want anywhere near a children’s television program.

The politically correct dogma about homosexuality is that gay people are “born this way.” The idea is pushed deliberately and forcefully precisely because it contradicts every behavioral observation. There are a number of different reasons why people are driven to homosexuality. However, there are two common reasons that are explored here: one for men and one for women.

Lesbianism
The stereotypical model of a lesbian is an angry, ugly, man-hating shrew. Although ugliness and rejection by men may drive some into a sort of “sour grapes” style lesbianism, that is not the most common case. Instead, ugliness is mostly a behavioral byproduct. The element of anger is the key, and it is important to remark that lesbian anger has a very tight focus: men.

Why are lesbians angry at men? The most common reason is the presence of an abusive father. For this reason, the anger is coupled with fear. This is why it seldom comes out in a direct confrontation with a man, but it is more commonly observed when lesbians speak, indirectly, about men.

As expected, a typical woman will develop a normal affinity for her father over the course of maturation. The father becomes the ideal figure of what that woman seeks as a primary relationship later on in life. However, if the father is abusive, the woman becomes fearful of and angry with her father.

The abusive father creates a classic reaction formation in which the lesbian spends the rest of her life seeking safety from her father through relationships with women. Overcompensation in lesbians frequently takes the form of crude sexual remarks about women’s anatomy and overt masculinity.

Gay Men
Gay men are almost the complete opposite of lesbians. They are seldom, if ever, angry at women, and they tend to get along with women very well. In fact, gay men get along with virtually everyone. In fact, they subvert their own self-worth in order to please anyone and everyone.

This desire to please people is a result of intense feelings of inadequacy. The culprit is typically an overbearing and critical mother who drives the gay man to become outwardly directed and to constantly seek other people’s approval. The lack of self-worth renders the gay man incapable of sexual attraction toward women. All such feelings serve to make him feel all the more inadequate.

The strong desire to please frequently manifests itself as flamboyance. This type of gay man frequently becomes a chronic center of attention. He lives his life “on stage”–sometimes figuratively, sometimes actually. For this reason, we see numerous gay men who become singers or dancers. This is the gay man as performance artist. He lives his life constantly performing and seeking approval. He idolizes idols, like Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland.

Further Remarks
Rather than address these psychological issues truthfully, political interest groups have arisen to attempt to cement homosexuality as a “normal” lifestyle because they seek to use homosexuals as a political tool. To this end, they have tried to convince everyone, including homosexuals, that their inclinations are genetic.

Sadly, the very people whose cause is being championed are its biggest victims. Trapped by feelings of anger and fear or inadequacy, homosexuals are validated through their exposure as political tools. Not only are the opponents of normalizing homosexuality demonized, but homosexuals who want to leave the gay lifestyle behind are considered traitors and made into pariahs. All of this is done to gain political power.

Many homosexuals want some semblance of a normal life. The gay marriage movement is a testament to that fact. However, nothing in the world will ever serve to make homosexuality normal. Instead, political normalization and militancy trap homosexuals in a state of perpetual depression due to their fear or inadequacy, while they seek peace or approval with no resolution.

It is a state of endless misery and one need not look far for the results. Lesbians, driven by fear and anger, commonly become abusive, often physically. Gay men seek numerous sexual “relationships” with strange men in an effort to gain widespread approval. It is a great tragedy for homosexuals, particularly because their upbringing affords them no notion of what it means to live a normal, happy, and fulfilled life.
